something is seriously wrong with these icons like

the designs make 0 sense they are not indicative of their function (with the exception of text, link and video)

the icons for link and chat are virtually identical

the icon for text is noticeably smaller looking and feels off-centered compared to the other icons

did tumblr do this as a joke? did someone make a mistake? i’m genuinely curious because these icons are incredibly ineffective and poorly designed

They changed them back in less than 10 minutes but please let this post live forever as a testament to the staff’s poor decision.

we’ve taught girls to romanticise nearly everything a boy does. when i was younger i thought it was cute that boys chased the girl even after she said no. i loved it when after a girl moved away from a kiss, the guy would pull her back and force it on. i thought a guy saying ‘i won’t take a no for an answer’ was passionate and romantic. we’re literally always teaching girls to romanticise abusive traits.

Me and my girlfrand Jessi Jae Joplin!! Modeling THE COOLEST threads from http://devowevo.com and rocking THE SICKEST kicks by YRU!!

It’s been so long since my last real post but I’m sure you know by now that I’ve just been through a lot of tragedy and am still trying to get back on solid ground. The world around me feels like it’s just shattered over my head. And Im all cut up and bruised. It’s been really hard to find motivation for anything. I’ve been staying in Texas (my home state) for the last few weeks to try and get some normalcy, and I’m beginning to see a light at the end of this tunnel….however dim it may be.

Ok so now that I’ve gvot that off my chest back to the clothes!! I really really love Devo Wevo. I first discovered them a couple years ago when a music producer friend asked me to sing a demo for him but he couldn’t afford my rate (ahem i wasnt gonna charge him anyway but…), so he acyually bought a pair of mary jane leggings from this company and i was in loooove at first sight. And then later I became friends with the owner online and when she came to LA to visit we kicked and the rest is history. These beautiful pictures were taken by the masterly Travis Seale. I just adore how they came out!!

Everyone who suffers from social anxiety needs a friend who will

  1. help them order food when it’s too scary
  2. walk with them through crowded places
  3. help them laugh it off when they make a mistake
  4. not get tired of answering “no, you’re not annoying, silly goose! You’re adorable and I love you” no matter how many times it’s needed

and if you’re that friend, bless u for being fab <3

this is too accurate

If you’re mad at her, you don’t understand it.  White people are trying to remove themselves from all people of color.  Let me show you why this is true.  You’ve heard of Asian-americans or African Americans or Mexican Americans.  But how about a European American?  Have you ever heard someone say they’re Canadian American? or European American? Probably not.  White people can just call themselves American, even if their ancestry has not been in America for long.  If your great-grandparents moved because of the potato famine, you don’t call yourselves Irish American, you have lived your entire life in the United States, you call yourself an American.  But now, take someone whose ancestry is linked to some of the first slaves in the colonies, and they still call themselves African-American.  Doesn’t matter if they’ve never stepped foot on the continent and share no cultural link, other than pigment, with any society in Africa, they still have to identify with African.

What’s most infuriating is that even people who are the ultimate Americans: Native Americans.  They were in the Americas while ass backwards Europe was accusing (and burning) women of being witches.  THEY, of all people, shouldn’t have to specify their identity as an American, but NO they have to be labeled with something else.

Raven Symone is an absolute star.  She has my total respect for standing up like this, and I hope her so much happiness with her girlfriend.  I wish she was still on television, she taught me so much , even if it was all from a disney show
